• I often try to manage life on my own instead of turning to the Lord.
• We frequently forget what God has done.
• In the Old Testament, God repeatedly tells the Israelites to "remember" His deeds, reminding them of His choice to be their God.

  • Be cautious of false teachings and small lies that can infiltrate your life, as they can affect your entire being (Matthew 6:22-23).

v21-23

• Peter attempts to rebuke Jesus, only to be rebuked in return.
• Some ponder if Jesus’ later request for another way is hypocritical.
  • However, we agreed it isn’t. Jesus identifies Peter as a stumbling block to God’s will because Jesus came to die for humanity’s sins. Anything obstructing that is, in essence, satanic. Jesus’s human side grapples with the impending suffering, while still accepting the original plan.
• Why does Judas receive condemnation for fulfilling God's will?
  • God’s sovereignty does not equate to coercion; Judas was possessed by the devil (Luke 22:3).

v25

• What does this mean, and how can we apply it practically?
• Embrace "less of me and more of God."
• This could involve daily Bible reading with my wife and attending church weekly.
• The Holy Spirit can achieve wonders, but will you allow Him to?
